Insurance:

How can I benefit from the national insurance plans offered by AYF partner
Sadler & Co. Insurance?
A.
Once you finish your registration at
www.joinayf.com, you will
be given a password and a link for approval to purchase the insurance plan. You
can also call Sadler Sports for information at 1-800-622-7370.
MyAYF Membership:
Q.
How can I get access to AYF Services and Resources at the control panel at
MyAYF.com?
A.
MyAYF.com is a website for AYF
Members only, all Administrators/Coaches/or other contacts need to be added into
the system by a local Association/Conference Administrator. Contacts entered
into the system will receive an email with their own individual password and
User ID. The local organization administration is responsible for adding users.

Q.
What are the AYF football divisions, rules?
A.
AYF is all-inclusive, so therefore AYF offers Local Membership Structure (for
'non-competitive leagues) as well as the Tournament Membership Structure (for
Regionally/Nationally competitive leagues). The Local Structure emphasizes that
‘As longs as leagues follows standard safety practices, sportsmanship practices
and fair play policies; leagues are free to set their own age/weight divisions,
and set their own rules.
If you are going to participate in
Regional/National competition, your teams need to abide by the Official AYF
Rules and Regulations and need to fit into the divisional classifications as
outlined on the "Football"
page of this website and in the AYF Rule Book found on the
MyAyf control panel.

How can my team(s) participate in Regional or National championships?
A.
Once you have registered for the season with AYF, you will have access to the
MyAyf control panel where you
can find info on the requirements of participation, Regional event details and
contact information for your regional representatives.

How can we get Information on American Youth Cheer and divisions/rules for the
Nationals?

"Cheerleading" tab on our website and the AYC Rule Book found on the
MyAyf control panel. Please

Can Cheer/Dance/Step teams join WITHOUT their entire Association?
A.
Yes, this is possible, please contact the AYC Commissioner. When registering at
JOINAYF.com you will need
to select the option to register as "unaffiliated cheer team".

What are the benefits of Joining AYF, How and when can we join, and what is the
membership term?
A.
Read over this website to see all of our varied events and services and visit
JOINAYF.com for a list of
benefits and the online registration form. The AYF Membership year is April 1
through March 31 and members can register for the following season anytime after
December 1, of the current year.
Q.
Our league was a member of AYF last season, do we need to register again this
season?
A.
YES. All leagues must APPLY for membership EVERY SEASON with AYF. Please go to
www.joinayf.com
Q.
If I have registered with AYF for a specific number of teams, and that number
changes, what do I do?
A.
You need to make these changes on your Member Profile page at
MyAyf.com and print out an
updated copy of your membership certificate to affix to your organizations
by-laws.
Q.
My league is a member of AYF and we are having problems on a local level. Who
should we contact to make a complaint?
A.
Each AYF member league is an autonomous and self-governing organization, free to
set its own by-laws. Issues that occur on a local level must be addressed
locally. Bring the issue to the attention of your local Board of Directors and
administrators; this is where changes can be made. If the issue remains
unresolved or if it is of a critical context, send AYF an email and we will
assess each case on an individual basis.

These books are only available to AYF member organizations. Members can access
the books electronically at
MyAyf.com , or if you would like
additional hard copies, please email us your request.

How can I find a league in my area for my child to participate in?
A.
Fill out the appropriate
League Locator form and your
request will be processed in a timely fashion with the information emailed back
to you.
Q.
Where can I find a list of AYF member organizations?
A.
There is NO such list available, as AYF respects the privacy of our members.
Anyone requesting such information must fill out the appropriate
League Locator form and your
request will be addressed. Forms are available for members as well as
non-members.

How does my association apply for an AYF/ NFL local agency grant?
A.
AYF distributes grants to deserving member organizations. Please find the grants
